  My son attended David Lutheran Preschool this past year and I have really enjoyed the time we spent at this school. He was in the 4-5 year old class with Mrs. Mayer and Mrs. Kandy. Both teachers were wonderful! After the year was finished my son has learned his address, phone number, how to write and sound out all letters, recognizing his birthday, and all of the days of the week. At the beginning of the year after initial assessment the teachers will meet with the parents and go over the child's developmental skills. Areas of improvements and areas where the child excels were discussed. The end of the year Mrs. Mayer and Mrs. Kandy performed a screening very similar to pre-kindergarden screening and results shared with each parent. I am so happy with everything my son took away from this experience. I would recommend this school to any parent! A warning this is a Christen preschool and that was a focus through out the year. My husband and I needed to adjust a little due to us not being very religious but it wasn't an issue. Also, in order to keep the school going there were a lot of fundraisers. Considering how happy I was with my son's time spent there, a little fundraising to keep the program going was well worth it. The tuition was one of the cheaper tuitions in town. Any parent on the fence about where to send their child keep this school in mind (better yet call and check it out) they offer a great program! My son really did learn a lot and for that I am so very thankful!
